Samsara Inc. (IOT) provides solutions that connect physical operations data to its Connected Operations Cloud in the United States and internationally. 
The company's Connected Operations Cloud includes Data Platform, which ingests, aggregates, and enriches data from its IoT devices and has embedded capabilities for AI, workflows and analytics, alerts, API connections, and data security and privacy; and applications for video-based safety, vehicle telematics, apps and driver workflows, equipment monitoring, and site visibility.
It serves transportation, wholesale and retail trade, construction, field services, logistics, utilities and energy, healthcare and education, manufacturing, food and beverage, and other industries, as well as government.
Shares have formed a bullish "flag" following its recent earnnings report. On August 31st, IOT reported a loss of $0.01 per share on revenue of $219.26 million for the fiscal second quarter ended July 2023. The consensus estimate was a loss of $0.02 per share on revenue of $207.49 million. The company reported in-line with expectations while revenue grew 42.82% on a year-over-year basis. Higher share prices are expected.
