Howmet Aerospace Inc. (HWM) provides advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. 
It operates through four segments: Engine Products, Fastening Systems, Engineered Structures, and Forged Wheels.
The Engine Products segment offers airfoils and seamless rolled rings primarily for aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines; and rotating and structural parts.
The Fastening Systems segment produces aerospace fastening systems, as well as commercial transportation, industrial, and other fasteners; and latches, bearings, fluid fittings, and installation tools.
The Engineered Structures segment provides titanium ingots and mill products, aluminum and nickel forgings, and machined components and assemblies for aerospace and defense applications; and titanium forgings, extrusions, and forming and machining services for airframe, wing, aero-engine, and landing gear components.
The Forged Wheels segment offers forged aluminum wheels and related products for heavy-duty trucks and commercial transportation markets.
Shares have formed a bullish "flag" following its latest quarterly report. On May 2nd, HWM reported 1st Quarter March 2023 earnings of $0.42 per share on revenue of $1.6 billion. The consensus earnings estimate was $0.38 per share on revenue of $1.5 billion. Revenue grew 21.1% on a year-over-year basis.
Guided Higher: The company said it expects second quarter earnings of $0.41 to $0.43 per share on revenue of $1.60 billion to $1.62 billion and 2023 earnings of $1.65 to $1.70 per share on revenue of $6.200 billion to $6.325 billion. The company's previous guidance was 2023 earnings of $1.53 to $1.67 per share on revenue of $6.00 billion to $6.20 billion. The current consensus estimate is earnings of $0.40 per share on revenue of $1.52 billion for the quarter ending June 30, 2023 and earnings of $1.62 per share on revenue of $6.14 billion for the year ending December 31, 2023.
