Its Reinsurance segment provides casualty reinsurance for third party liability exposures; marine and aviation; motor reinsurance, whole account multi-line treaties, cyber, trade credit, surety, accident and health, workers' compensation catastrophe, agriculture, trade credit, and political risk products; reinsurance protection for catastrophic losses, and personal lines and commercial property exposures; life reinsurance; casualty clash; and risk management solutions. This segment markets its reinsurance products through brokers.
On April 27th, ACGL reported 1st Quarter March 2023 earnings of $1.73 per share on revenue of $3.2 billion. The consensus earnings estimate was $1.51 per share on revenue of $3.2 billion. Revenue grew 63.1% on a year-over-year basis. Shares are heading higher in an upward trading channel. Higher share prices are expected.
