It operates VisaNet, a processing network that enables authorization, clearing, and settlement of payment transactions; and offers fraud protection for account holders and assured payment for merchants.

In addition, the company offers card products, as well as value-added services. It provides its services under the Visa, Visa Electron, Interlink, V PAY, and PLUS brands. Shares are sitting at their 50-day moving average and are expected to move higher in their "upward trading channel" shown in blue. 

On April 24, the company reported its quarterly results. Visa (V) reported 2nd Quarter March 2019 earnings of $1.31 per share on revenue of $5.5 billion. The consensus earnings estimate was $1.24 per share on revenue of $5.5 billion.
