It operates approximately 7,500 restaurants in approximately 1,100 cities. It holds right to operate and sub-license the KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell brands in China, as well as owns the East Dawning and Little Sheep concepts. The company operates some 400,000 people in China.

The company is scheduled to report its quarterly results on Thursday October 5th. Estimates call for a profit of 56 cents per share on revenue of $1.97 billion. Ahead of the report shares have formed a bullish "cup and handle" and are expected to move higher on the earnings report.
