Bank of the Ozarks, Inc. (OZRK) operates as the bank holding company for Bank of the Ozarks that provides a range of retail and commercial banking services.
The company accepts various deposits products, such as checking, savings, money market, time deposit, and individual retirement accounts.
Its loan portfolio comprises real estate loans, which include loans secured by residential 1-4 family, non-farm/non-residential, agricultural, construction/land development, multifamily residential properties, and other land loans; and consumer loans for purchasing automobiles, recreational vehicles, boats, and mobile homes.
The companys loan portfolio also comprise loans for commercial, industrial, and professional purposes, including loans to fund working capital requirements, and purchase of machinery and equipment, as well as term and balloon loans, and lines of credit; and agricultural loans for financing agricultural production consisting of loans to businesses or individuals engaged in the production of timber, poultry, livestock, or crops. In addition, it offers mortgage lending; treasury management services comprising wholesale lock box services; remote deposit capture services; and trust and wealth management services, such as financial planning, money management, custodial, and corporate trust services.
Further, the company provides real estate appraisals; credit-related life and disability insurance; ATMs; telephone banking; on-line and mobile banking services, including electronic bill pay; debit cards; gift cards; safe deposit boxes; credit cards for consumers and businesses; processing of merchant debit and credit card transactions; and investment brokerage. As of March 5, 2014, it operated 140 offices in Arkansas, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, New York, and California.
