TSLA... | Hot Stocks20:00 EDT Fly Intel: Top five weekend stock stories - Catch up on the weekend's top five stories with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Tesla (TSLA) said it produced 479,700 vehicles in Q2 and delivered 466,140 of them. The company produced 19,489 of the Model S and X with deliveries of 19,225 and 8% subject to operating lease accounting. Tesla also produced 460,211 of the Model 3 and Y with deliveries of 446,915 and 5% subject to operating lease accounting. 2. A group of EV charger makers and operators is pushing back against Texas' plan to mandate the inclusion of Tesla technology in charging stations, saying it is "premature," according to a document seen by Reuters and a source aware of the matter. Reuters reported last week that Texas would require charging companies to include both Tesla's North American Charging Standard as well as the nationally recognized rival Combined Charging Standard technology to be eligible for a state program to electrify highways using federal dollars. Five electric vehicle charging companies, including operator ChargePoint Holdings (CHPT) and manufacturer ABB, and a clean energy association have written to the Texas Transportation Commission, calling for more time to re-engineer and test Tesla's connectors, Reuters' Abhirup Roy reports. 3. The fate of Microsoft's (MSFT) $69B purchase of Activision Blizzard (ATVI) will finally be known in the coming weeks-and investors may want to consider taking profits on the videogame maker's stock before then, Connor Smith writes in this week's edition of Barron's. It's now up to U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley to weigh in on the commission's request to block Microsoft from acquiring Activision before an FTC administrative law judge holds hearings in August. If Corley rules in favor of Microsoft, it would effectively clear the path for the deal to close in the U.S. The FTC would likely withdraw its antitrust complaint, as it did when a judge declined to grant the regulator an injunction blocking Meta Platforms' (META) acquisition of virtual-reality firm Within Unlimited. If the injunction is granted, Microsoft and Activision will likely walk away from the deal when it expires on July 18, the author notes. 4. Disney's (DIS) "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" won this weekend at the North American box office with an estimated $60M debut. Overseas, the fifth and final installment of the series starring Harrison Ford earned $70M for a global cume of $130M. The movie earned a B+ CinemaScore from Audiences and sports an 88 percent positive audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. 5. Rockwell Automation (ROK), AvalonBay Communities (AVB), Equity Residential (EQR), Digital Realty Trust (DLR), Equinix (EQIX), First Industrial Realty First (FR), Simon Property Group (SPG), Healthpeak Properties (PEAK), Kimco Realty (KIM), Cousins Properties (CUZ), and Highwoods Properties (HIW) saw positive mentions in this week's edition of Barron's.
