RSVR | Hot Stocks16:37 EDT Reservoir Media 'commends' U.S. Copyright Royalty Board phonorecords ruling - Reservoir Media, Inc. commended the U.S. Copyright Royalty Board's long-awaited decision to uphold increased mechanical streaming royalty rates for songwriters and music publishers, retroactive to the beginning of 2018. In a ruling issued on July 1, 2022, the CRB reaffirmed raising the minimum statutory mechanical streaming royalty rates incrementally from 10.5% to 15.1% over the years 2018-2022, rejecting an appeal by several digital service providers. The 2018 rate increase was appealed in 2020 by a group of DSPs, including Spotify, Amazon, Google, and Pandora, causing a delay in its implementation, and withholding significant increased royalties that would have been paid to songwriters and music publishers through 2022. The CRB III decision reinstates the 15.1% increase for the year 2022, and with this decision, the DSPs must now pay music publishers, including Reservoir, the previously withheld revenues. However, the decision overturned Total Content Cost and bundle definitions, reverting them to CRB II levels, both of which are more favorable for DSPs. CRB IV, which will address these issues and also determine mechanical streaming royalty rates for 2023-2027, is currently underway.

DMAC | Hot Stocks16:34 EDT DiaMedica says FDA puts clinical hold on Phase 2/3 ReMEDy2 trial - DiaMedica Therapeutics announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has placed a clinical hold on the company's Phase 2/3 ReMEDy2 trial studying the use of the company's product candidate, DM199, to treat acute ischemic stroke patients. The clinical hold was initiated following the company's pause in patient enrollment and submission of three serious adverse event reports to the FDA related to clinically significant, transient hypotension occurring shortly after initiation of the intravenous dose of DM199. The blood pressure levels of the three patients recovered back to their baseline blood pressure within minutes after IV infusion was stopped. The company believes that the adverse events resulted from switching to an IV bag formulated from different materials in the ReMEDy2 trial compared to the IV bag used in the prior Phase 2 ReMEDy1 trial. Due to supply issues, the type of IV bag used in the ReMEDy1 trial was not available in many U.S. hospitals, and accordingly after routine compatibility testing, a different type of IV bag was selected for use in the ReMEDy2 trial. As part of the Company's evaluation of the events that lead to these hypotensive events, the Company is confirming the differences in drug absorption in the IV bags used in the ReMEDy1 trial compared to the ReMEDy2 trial and plans to work with the FDA to modify the ReMEDy2 trial protocol to adjust the DM199 IV dosing to more closely match the dosing in the ReMEDy1 trial, taking into account these differences. The company notes that no such hypotension issues were reported in its ReMEDy1 trial in which 46 stroke patients received DM199. The company may not enroll any additional patients in the ReMEDy2 trial until the company provides the FDA with the company's analysis of the events leading to or causing the hypotension, its suggested protocol modifications to address the mitigation of these events, its rationale and supporting data for the protocol modifications, and the FDA notifies the company that it may resume enrollment in the clinical trial. Based on information received to date, DiaMedica believes that proportionate reductions in the DM199 dose level and IV infusion times will effectively mitigate the hypotension issue in ReMEDy2 patients. The company plans to submit a revised ReMEDy2 trial protocol with the supporting rationale and data to the FDA for review upon completion of its compatibility analysis.

CTMX | Hot Stocks16:16 EDT CytomX reports Arm A of praluzatamab ravtansine trial met primary endpoint - CytomX Therapeutics announced that the Phase 2 study of praluzatamab ravtansine in patients with hormone receptor-positive, or HR+/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2, or HER2-non-amplified breast cancer Arm A met its primary efficacy endpoint of confirmed objective response rate, or ORR, of greater than 10% by central radiology review. Praluzatamab ravtansine is a DM4-conjugated, conditionally activated antibody-drug conjugate, or ADC, targeting CD166 and is wholly owned by CytomX. As of the data cutoff on May 13, 47 patients unselected for CD166 expression with advanced HR+/HER2-non-amplified breast cancer were evaluable for the primary efficacy endpoint. The ORR by central radiology review was 15%. Clinical benefit rate at 24 weeks by investigator, or CBR24, as defined in the protocol as any response or stable disease for 24 weeks, was 40%; median progression-free survival was 2.6 months. All patients in Arm A were treated at the initial Phase 2 starting dose of 7 mg/kg administered every three weeks. Arm B did not pass protocol-defined futility boundary in patients with advanced triple-negative breast cancer, or TNBC, and enrollment into Arms B and C will be discontinued. As of this data cut, the safety profile of praluzatamab ravtansine in Arm A was generally consistent with toxicities observed in Phase 1 and with the DM4 payload; namely, high-grade toxicities or toxicities resulting in dose modifications were predominantly ocular or neuropathic in nature. Thirty percent of patients discontinued treatment for an adverse event. Grade 3+ ocular and neuropathic toxicities were 15 and 10 percent, respectively. Arm B evaluated both 7 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg in patients with TNBC. The toxicity profile of 7 mg/kg starting dose was consistent with Arm A. In the 6 mg/kg cohort, no patients discontinued treatment for an AE and Grade 3+ ocular or neuropathic related events were lower at 3% and 0%, respectively. Biomarker analysis is ongoing. CytomX intends to submit data from this study for presentation at a medical conference in the second half of 2022.

VYGVF... | Hot Stocks11:52 EDT Voyager Digital files voluntary petitions for Chapter 11 bankruptcy - Voyager Digital announced earlier that it has commenced a voluntary Chapter 11 process to "maximize value for all stakeholders." As part of this process, the company and its main operating subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York. The company intends to seek recognition of the Chapter 11 case of Voyager in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice pursuant to the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. The proposed plan of reorganization would, upon implementation, resume account access and return value to customers. Under this plan, which is subject to change given ongoing discussions with other parties, and requires court approval, customers with crypto in their account(s) will receive in exchange a combination of the crypto in their account(s), proceeds from the 3AC recovery, common shares in the newly reorganized company, and Voyager tokens. The plan contemplates an opportunity for customers to elect the proportion of common equity and crypto they will receive, subject to certain maximum thresholds. Customers with USD deposits in their account(s) will receive access to those funds after a reconciliation and fraud prevention process is completed with Metropolitan Commercial Bank. The company continues to evaluate all strategic alternatives to maximize value for stakeholders. The company has over $110M of cash and owned crypto assets on hand, which will provide liquidity to support day-to-day operations during the Chapter 11 process, in addition to more than $350M of cash held in the For Benefit of Customers account at Metropolitan Commercial Bank. Voyager also has approximately $1.3B of crypto assets on its platform, plus claims against Three Arrows Capital of more than $650M. "This comprehensive reorganization is the best way to protect assets on the platform and maximize value for all stakeholders, including customers. Voyager's platform was built to empower investors by providing access to crypto asset trading with simplicity, speed, liquidity, and transparency. While I strongly believe in this future, the prolonged volatility and contagion in the crypto markets over the past few months, and the default of Three Arrows Capital on a loan from the company's subsidiary, Voyager Digital, LLC, require us to take deliberate and decisive action now. The chapter 11 process provides an efficient and equitable mechanism to maximize recovery," said Stephen Ehrlich, CEO of Voyager.

ALKS | Hot Stocks10:34 EDT Sarissa to vote for Alkermes director slate, still seeks board seat - Sarissa Capital Management earlier today issued a statement on Alkermes regarding how it intends to vote at the upcoming annual meeting. Sarissa said in part: "Richard Pops, the CEO and Chairman of Alkermes, has presided over tremendous shareholder value destruction since becoming CEO of Alkermes over thirty years ago. Despite Alkermes growing revenues in the last five years and having annual revenues exceeding $1 billion, Alkermes has consistently operated at a net loss. During the same period, Alkermes stock has declined nearly 60% and underperformed the IBB by approximately 130%. Based on conversations with CEO Pops and its experience to date with the Alkermes nomination and governance process, Sarissa believes that certain of the independent directors are uncomfortable making decisions that are not supported by, or that reflect criticism of, CEO Pops. Alex Denner and Richard Pops and others have had a number of conversations which we were hopeful would lead to a Sarissa representative working on the Alkermes board to create value for all shareholders. Unfortunately, Pops set forth a version of these conversations in the Alkermes' securities filings which is fraught with misleading statements, inaccuracies and material omissions...Sarissa believes that its support of the recently appointed directors combined with the decisions of long tenured directors Anstice and Dixon, to not stand for re-election, should create an environment in the board room that will enable the directors to do the right thing for shareholders even in the face of resistance from Pops...We believe Alkermes' shares are significantly undervalued and that we can help to unlock shareholder value with our representatives on the board. We are hopeful that the current board will agree with us. Therefore, we intend to vote 'for' the Alkermes slate of directors (which consists entirely of recently appointed directors) at the upcoming annual meeting. If, however, a Sarissa representative is not soon appointed to the Alkermes board, then we will take steps under Irish law to quickly call another shareholder meeting that seeks to selectively remove and replace certain board members with those that Sarissa believes will act in the best interest of shareholders."

While it is difficult to know the revenue arc for ABVC at this stage, given the large need that both Vitargus and ABV- 1505 address and the current cost of standard care, as well as the growing incidence of adult ADHD and vitreo-retinal procedures, we believe ABVC could attain product revenue of $3.2 million in 2023 and $14.5 million to $16 million in 2024."

EDBL | Hot Stocks08:43 EDT Edible Garden reports on Zero-Waste Inspired ESG/Sustainability mandate - Edible Garden provided an update the success of its Zero-Waste Inspired ESG/Sustainability mandate. Jim Kras, CEO of Edible Garden, commented, "We are both pleased and proud to announce the positive impact of our Zero-Waste Inspired ESG/Sustainability mandate. As part of our involvement with Walmart Project Gigaton, an initiative with a goal of eliminating one billon metric tons, or one gigaton, of CO2 emissions from global value chains by 2030, it is estimated that during 2021, we contributed to the effort by saving 21,000 gallons of gasoline, recycling 38,000 tons of cardboard, conserving 500,000 barrels of oil, and avoiding 442 tons of CO2 emissions. A sustainability survey conducted by Thepacker.com, the fresh fruit and vegetable industry's leading source for news, information and analysis, provides further evidence of the importance of sustainable products to consumers. More than half of consumers surveyed were more likely to buy products labeled as "climate-smart," 54% prefer recyclable packaging, and 25% indicated that they only buy from brands that can demonstrate how the brand addresses climate change. Attributes rated highly by consumers regarding the impact on sustainability of the food they bought were recyclable packaging, 57%, low carbon footprint, 50%, and urban and vertical farming, 41%. These results demonstrate why our ESG/sustainability approach has resonated extremely well with both retailers and consumers who care about the environmental impact of the food supply chain, which we expect will help Edible Garden expand our distribution channels and drive demand for our products. Our Zero-Waste Inspired approach is integral in everything we do. Innovative recyclable packaging minimizes the use of plastics and has successfully reduced waste and shrinkage at our supermarket customers by increasing the shelf life of our products, thereby reducing spoilage. For example, using our packaging technologies, cilantro maintains its quality for up to 11 days, or more than 50% longer than seven days with conventional packaging. In fact, this technology has led to a significant decline in product shrinkage among retailers. Our hydro basil, packaged in a recyclable and biodegradable pot, increasingly available in major supermarket chains in the northeast, is a perfect example of our approach and goal of reducing plastic consumption. We plan to expand this program across more of our SKUs and with more of our retail partners as we move forward."

AMTI | Hot Stocks08:26 EDT Applied Molecular Transport announces Phase 2 results from MARKET trial - Applied Molecular Transport announced top-line Phase 2 results from the MARKET combination trial for AMT-101 in biologic-naive patients with moderate-to-severe UC. AMT-101 is an investigational, once-daily, GI-selective, oral fusion of IL-10 and AMT's proprietary carrier molecule. In the MARKET trial, patients received either once-daily oral AMT-101 3mg in combination with adalimumab, or adalimumab alone. The objectives of the MARKET trial were to assess the safety and efficacy of AMT-101 in combination with anti-TNFalpha therapy in patients with moderate-to-severe UC. The key efficacy endpoint of clinical remission was measured at 8 weeks. The clinical remission rate in the adalimumab alone arm was higher than historical anti-TNFalpha monotherapy benchmarks, and the data from the MARKET trial did not demonstrate added clinical benefit in the combination arm compared to the adalimumab alone arm at week 8. Of the 49 evaluable patients, 31.8% of patients treated in the combination arm achieved clinical remission versus 33.3% in patients receiving adalimumab alone at week 8. Clinical remission is defined as Mayo endoscopic subscore of 0 or 1, rectal bleeding subscore of 0 and stool frequency subscore of 0 or 1. AMT-101 appeared safe and well-tolerated. Treatment emergent adverse events were mostly mild to moderate, with one serious adverse event observed, worsening of UC, which was determined to be unrelated to study treatment. Overall patient demographics were balanced between the two arms with the exception of patients in the combination arm having much shorter duration of UC history versus patients in adalimumab alone arm. Based on this observation, we conducted a post hoc sub-group analysis to explore the potential effect of duration of UC history on clinical remission. Sub-group analysis revealed that patients with a shorter duration of UC had clinical remission rates of 43.8% in the combination arm versus 15.4% in the adalimumab alone arm. In patients with longer duration UC, clinical remission rates were 0.0% in the combination arm versus 50.0% in patients receiving adalimumab alone. These data suggest that combination treatment with AMT-101 earlier in the course of UC may be more beneficial than anti-TNFalpha alone within 5 years of diagnosis. Further evaluation and analyses are ongoing. The Company plans to present full trial results at an upcoming medical conference. AMT anticipates a number of milestones for its AMT-101 development program in IBD. For chronic pouchitis, FDA has granted an end of Phase 2 meeting for AMT-101 to discuss Phase 3 development. The company also anticipates top-line results from its ongoing AMT-101 Phase 2 LOMBARD monotherapy trial for UC in the second half of 2022.

SRPT RHHBY | Hot Stocks08:23 EDT Sarepta's Duchenne muscular dystrophy candidate shows efficacy in studies - Sarepta (SRPT) and its partner Roche (RHHBY) presented new results and analyses at the International Congress on Neuromuscular Diseases, which demonstrate that SRP-9001 shows consistent, statistically significant functional benefits in individuals with Duchenne versus a propensity-weighted external control that continue to positively diverge from natural history disease course. SRP-9001-treated participants improved 4 points from their pre-therapy baselines, and 3.8 points and 3.2 points at 52 weeks on the North Star Ambulatory Assessment vs. external control group. Results from ENDEAVOR support the company's ongoing Phase 3 study. In a 4-patient study, at 4 years, patients - currently on average over 9 years old and in the predicted steep decline phase of disease - did not decline but showed a 7-point increase above their pre-treatment baselines on NSAA, and improvement versus external control. In a 52-patient integrated analysis at target dose, at one year, SRP-9001 treated patients improved 3.1 points and 2.4 points on NSAA versus external control. Safety and tolerability profile for SRP-9001 remains consistent across treated patients. SRP-9001 is an investigational gene therapy for Duchenne being developed in partnership with Roche.

IMNM | Hot Stocks08:06 EDT Immunome says IMM-BCP-01 retained activity against Omicron subvariants - Immunome announced that their cocktail, IMM-BCP-01, retained activity against the BA.4/5 and BA.2.12.1 subvariants in pseudovirus testing. IMM-BCP-01 is currently in Phase 1b clinical testing in patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 and in locations where the predominant variants are BA.2.12.1, BA.4, BA.5 and BA.2. IMM-BCP-01 is a three-antibody cocktail with each antibody having a different mechanism of action. IMM20190 binds to a composite epitope involving the receptor binding ridge and an area adjacent to the receptor binding loop preventing binding to ACE2. IMM20184 and IMM20253 neutralized live BA.2 Omicron variant in in vitro testing as well as pseudoviruses corresponding to the BA.2.12.1 and BA.4/.5 subvariants. In particular, IMM20253 neutralized the virus through an ACE2-independent mechanism that differs from the neutralization mechanisms used by current or past antibodies approved for clinical use. Data recently published in Science Immunology provides a mechanistic basis for how IMM20253 binding, which is conserved across all variants to date including Omicron and its sub-lineages, neutralized SARS-CoV-2. "We are pleased that IMM-BCP-01 retains effectiveness against the currently dominant BA.4/.5 and BA.2.12.1 subvariants," stated Purnanand Sarma, PhD, President & CEO of Immunome. "Further, as several existing antibody treatments lose their potency against the Omicron subvariants, IMM-BCP-01 continues to retain activity against these variants in preclinical testing and we believe our cocktail has potential to play a significant role in managing the pandemic. We also look forward to announcing topline data from our Phase 1b clinical study in the second half of 2022."

It incorporates two years of exploration drilling at the Berry Deposit, which is now confirmed to be comparable in scale and gold content to the nearby Leprechaun Deposit. As a reminder, Berry is located immediately adjacent to the proposed site of the Project's gold mill. The new estimate also incorporates, and is successfully validated by, the results of our 2021 RC drill program, where we set out to test our assumptions about the scale and continuity of the gold mineralization at Valentine. As well as the new drilling datasets, the 2022 MRE benefits from new geological models, updated gold price and exchange rate assumptions, updated estimates for mining and processing costs, and new Whittle pit shells. The assessment work now completed on the Project's Mineral Resources is comprehensive, and has been conducted with a view to achieving the maximum possible confidence in the investment merits of the Project prior to breaking ground. As we have done this, the Project has continued to grow through our ongoing exploration efforts. In parallel with our permitting and engineering work, therefore, a study is underway to consider the opportunities offered by the 2022 MRE on the Project's Mineral Reserves, production profile and mine life. The results of this study will be incorporated into a new National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report, which will constitute an Updated Feasibility Study for the Valentine Gold Project. This work is on schedule for completion in the fourth quarter of this year."
