Key allegations made by the Justice Department are contradicted by the government's own scientific agencies, they are almost exclusively based on years-old events from before Indivior became an independent company in 2014, and they are wrong. The department has apparently decided it would rather pursue self-serving headlines on a matter of national significance than achieve an appropriate resolution, but we will contest this case vigorously and we look forward to the full facts coming out in court." "As you may know, the Department of Justice has taken the unusual step of indicting Indivior for events that date almost exclusively to before the company was formed in 2014," said Indivior chairman Howard Pien. "The Indivior Board of Directors, through a special committee of the board that I have chaired, has investigated the department's allegations for several years, and the board believes they are flat wrong. The board has full confidence in the management of the company, and we will fight these charges on the facts and on the law in court."

The analyst views this Geico win as "further validation of the increasing cloud financial momentum" for Workday within the untapped $30B ERP market. GEICO WIN: In a research note to investors, KeyBanc's Bracelin said that his analysis revealed a recent job posting that indicates Geico plans to implement a new ERP system, Workday Financials, and a new FP&A planning system, Adaptive Insights. Workday added a record 79 new financial management customers last quarter, marking a new milestone of adoption as the company continues to expand beyond the core Human Capital Managment market into the much larger Enterprise Resource Planning opportunity, Bracelin contended. Geico joins a growing list of enterprises with plans to move their core financials and ERP into the cloud, including AON (AON), Ameriprise (AMP), Ryder (R), Radisson Hotel Group, and Netflix (NFLX), he added. Further, Bracelin said he is encouraged by data that suggests a number of new healthcare and educational institutions are going "all-in" on Workday across the entire product suite. The analyst reiterated an Overweight on Workday's shares, saying he continues to view the stock as a core cloud franchise. PRICE ACTION: In morning trading, shares of Workday have gained about 1% to $188.27.

The company also issued a letter from its Chairman to stockholders that outlines the performance of the company and its growth strategy. The letter read, in part, "As we discussed during our earnings call in March, I am pleased with our accelerating revenue growth and expanding margins both on a GAAP and non-GAAP basis for the year ended January 31, 2019, overachieving both our internal goals for key performance metrics and our guidance for both revenue and EPS. I am also pleased with our GAAP cash from operations of $215M, a 22% year-over-year increase. With the momentum we experienced throughout last year and improving visibility, we recently raised our guidance for the second time for the year ending January 31, 2020. We believe that our overachievement, as well as our improved guidance, reflect the successful execution of the growth strategy we started to implement approximately two years ago. This growth strategy -- which we have been sharing with investors in our regular quarterly earning calls -- has been focused on accelerating our pace of innovation while simultaneously creating greater operational agility across Verint. We estimate the size of our Actionable Intelligence market to be approximately $10B and growing at a double-digit rate...In our Customer Engagement segment, I am pleased with our continued momentum, particularly in the areas of automation and cloud...In our Cyber Intelligence segment, I am also pleased with our continued momentum, particularly with the progress we have made in our transition to more of a software business model, driving significant margin expansion...As I noted above, we believe our results and overachievement reflect the successful execution of the growth strategy that we launched approximately two years ago. With this strategy we have accelerated our pace of innovation to further differentiate Verint in a market that is increasingly embracing Actionable Intelligence solutions...From a corporate governance perspective, we further enhanced the stockholder engagement program that we initiated in the prior year, deepening the level of engagement we had with our stockholders on strategy, compensation, and governance related topics. We greatly value the feedback we receive from our stockholders through this process and incorporate their input. Finally, we continued to refresh the composition of our Board of Directors with another new director in 2018, our third new director in three years. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to express our appreciation for your continued support of Verint."

VRNT | Hot Stocks09:56 EDT Verint calls Neuberger Berman nominations 'demonstrably unwarranted' - Verint Systems announced that it has filed a preliminary proxy statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission disclosing that Neuberger Berman, a Verint stockholder holding approximately 2.6% of the Company's outstanding shares, has nominated three board candidates for election at Verint's 2019 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. In response to the nominations, Verint said, "Over the last two years, Verint's Board has developed a new growth strategy centered on accelerating our pace of innovation in cloud and automation. This strategy has driven strong financial performance, including accelerating revenue growth with expanding margins, and the Board believes the strategy will continue to deliver significant growth. This momentum is driving strong shareholder returns with Verint's stock price increasing approximately 56% over the last 12 months - strongly outperforming both the Russell 2000 and NASDAQ indices, which have increased 5% and 15%, respectively, over the same period. Given this momentum, the Board believes that Neuberger Berman's nomination of directors is demonstrably unwarranted. We believe our Board, which is comprised of eight highly qualified individuals with a balance of experiences and skills, is highly capable of evaluating strategic decisions and providing management oversight to ensure we maximize the Company's potential. Verint continuously assesses the composition of the Board, and in just the last three years we have added three new directors, including one Board member who was added in 2017 at the recommendation of Neuberger Berman. We are committed to continuing to refresh our Board with qualified directors focused on driving incremental shareholder value, including with candidates proposed by our stockholders, but we are doing this as part of a long-term and orderly process to find the best candidates. The Board has carefully reviewed Neuberger Berman's candidates, and determined that none of these candidates' skills are additive to the current Board."

CPST | Hot Stocks09:23 EDT Capstone Turbine executes multiple LTAs to cut costs by about $3M per year - Capstone Turbine announced it executed multiple long-term supply agreements, or LTAs, to reduce direct material costs an estimated $3M per year once the new pricing is phased in over the next twelve months, demonstrating continued progress against its strategic initiative to improve cash flow. The company previously announced its focus on improving the business in areas that it has direct control of, and in areas that are not impacted by outside market forces, macroeconomic conditions, geopolitical events or trade wars. This new business initiative started last fall when the company announced it had launched a new factory long-term rental program into the Permian Basin with 3.6 megawatts to an oil and gas producer. In February, the company announced it had developed an enhanced version of its FPP service product and an updated version of its innovative DSS program, which is expected to drive product revenue, accelerate distributor training and development, and drive a higher volume of customer lead generation and global brand awareness. Lastly, the company recently implemented the most significant spare parts price increase in its history and announced that it received 19.5 MWs of new FPP contracts as part of its focus on improving FPP attachment rates. As a result of the direct material costs reduction initiative, Capstone has executed multiple new LTAs including a new 10-year LTA with a new supplier. The LTA from the new supplier will initially reduce annual direct material costs an estimated $2M per year once the transition is completed and will potentially reduce direct material costs up to $20M over the life of the agreement. The strategy to reduce direct material costs is based on partnering with the company's supply base to drive collaborative cost improvements within its value chain which will enable the significant material cost reductions.

NTCT | Hot Stocks09:20 EDT NetScout CEO says 2020 plans anticipate organic top-line growth, EPS growth - Anil Singhal, NETSCOUT's president and CEO, stated, "Our fourth-quarter fiscal year 2019 revenue shortfall was primarily caused by a longer-than-expected implementation schedule for the largest phase of a $15M project at an international mobile operator, which delayed revenue recognition. Nevertheless, we expect that the revenue associated with this phase of our customer's project will be recognized within the next several quarters. Despite this delay, we produced another quarter of solid top-line results in our enterprise customer segment and experienced a relatively strong performance in our security product area. Healthy gross margins aided by good adoption of our software-centric offerings and cost controls throughout the year played important roles in our ability to successfully achieve our prior EPS guidance. As we move forward, we believe that the most severe headwinds impacting our revenue performance in recent years have largely subsided, and we remain focused on executing key elements of our strategy that we believe are integral to driving improved, sustainable financial performance. Our plans for fiscal year 2020 anticipate both organic top-line growth and EPS growth. We will share more insight when we report our full-year fiscal year 2019 results next month."

GEVO | Hot Stocks09:19 EDT Gevo to work with Praj Industries to commercialize renewable isobutanol - Gevo announced that it has signed a binding, definitive construction license agreement with Praj Industries to commercialize the production of renewable isobutanol using sugary-based feedstocks, such as juice, syrup and molasses made of sugarcane and sugar beets. Pursuant to the construction license agreement, Praj will provide engineering procurement and construction services to certain third party customers using a process design package that incorporates Gevo's proprietary isobutanol biocatalyst and is designed for use with sugary-based feedstocks, or PDP. The PDP is jointly owned by Gevo and Praj. Gevo has granted a license to Praj that would allow Praj to provide such services to certain third party customers. In addition, Gevo also signed a memorandum of understanding, or MOU, with Praj Industries to commercialize Gevo's renewable hydrocarbons products in India, including Gevo's renewable alcohol-to-jet fuel and renewable isooctane, derived from Gevo's renewable isobutanol. The MOU contemplates two phases. In phase one, Praj will implement a pilot plant in India for the purpose of introducing Gevo's technology to potential customers. Following phase one, Praj and Gevo expect to enter into a commercial license agreement for the production of renewable hydrocarbons. Together, Gevo and Praj expect to use a combination of their respective technologies for the conversion of sugars to renewable hydrocarbon products. The construction license agreement is the product of the joint development agreement and development license agreement that Gevo and Praj entered into in November 2015. Pursuant to those agreements, Praj adapted Gevo's technology to use sugar cane and molasses feedstocks. The construction license agreement will allow Praj to leverage its extensive customer base to identify customers interested in licensing Gevo's technology to produce isobutanol utilizing the PDP. Gevo's partnership with Praj provides Gevo with access to markets outside of North America that utilize sugar-based feedstocks not prevalent in North America, particularly in regions such as India, Southeast Asia, Australia, South America and even parts of Europe where sugar beets are processed. In connection with the construction license agreement, Gevo and Praj have also entered into a new joint development agreement and a new development license agreement to continue their joint development efforts to produce isobutanol using sugarcane juice, sugarcane syrup, sugarcane molasses, sugar beet juice, sugar beet syrup, sugar beet molasses, sugar beet pulp, cassava, rice, wheat, sorghum, bagasse, rice straw, wheat straw, corn stover, cotton stalk and empty fruit bunches. In particular, Gevo and Praj are nearing the completion of work to develop a process design package to use agricultural residues, such as empty fruit bunches, wheat straw, rice straw or corn stover, to produce isobutanol. These second generation biomass feedstocks are the lowest cost feedstocks in some markets and have the additional benefit of having a low carbon footprint. The use of agricultural residues as a feedstock to produce isobutanol should provide Gevo feedstock optionality in markets that are targeting decarbonization from second generation forms of biomass.

And we're going big: 1,500 new autonomous floor cleaners, aka "Auto-C": After an associate preps the area, this machine can be programmed to travel throughout the open parts of the store, leaving behind a clean, polished floor. 300 additional shelf scanners, aka "Auto-S": This technology scans items on store shelves to help ensure availability, correct shelf location, and price accuracy. 1,200 more FAST Unloaders: Working with the shelf scanner, the FAST Unloader automatically scans and sorts items unloaded from trucks based on priority and department. 900 new Pickup Towers: A customer places an order online and selects for an in-store pickup. The associate loads the ordered item into the Pickup Tower. When a customer receives a notification via email that the item is available, they can use the Pickup Tower like a giant vending machine to retrieve their purchase." Reference Link
